This is a novel about a girl who lives on planet Azureblue. Here, all children receive a gazing ball when they are born but it is locked away till they are 121/2. Then they have a special ceremony where they are presented with their balls. They keep it with them for the next 6 months and it gives them 13 musings. After each they must study and learn from it. They have to do with who the children are and who they will become. On the day they turn 13 they will have received all musings and will also receive their magical gift. Everyone on Azureblue has a gift.
Zenda learns a valuable lesson in this book about impatience. A good book for girls who are interested in all things magical and those who need to learn to be more patient.

This is a great book for those who are not afraid to teach their children that they come from the mother's womb. A boy tells how he began growing in his mother's womb and just kept growing after he came out. He tells the ways he could tell he was growing (such as reaching a doorknob or outgrowing clothes) and what he learned as he grew. The text is white on a black page and the illustrations are a little cartoonish.

A beautiful Fairy story about a wingless fairy who cares for others before herself. When she tries to save her woodkin friends her character is tested by an imp.
It is a longer story, with 29 pages (81/2 X 11) each with about half a page of text. It's at least a 15 minute read. The illustrations are gorgeous, originally painted with watercolours.
Besides being a cute introduction to fairies, the moral of the story is to love who you are and not to try to be different than you are.
